? no good 2004-03-19 - By Scott Isaacson
Back Im using the menubar in a project. I'm populating it with xml. I want menus with no children to act as a regular button basically to take a user to a site section or to quit the app. I only want to trigger an "onCLick" event. I'm currently isolating those desired menus using a listener for menuShow. Problem is, when I use that, onRollover of that menu the menuShow is triggered. So my content is jumping around. Has anyone found a suitable workaround for this? I've searched the archives and tried all the things others have, that?s how I ended up with the menushow method.
Ive tried hacking the menubar onDraw to rewrite some of the function calls for onItemPress and onItemRollover that I found in the menubar.as class doc. That doesn?t seem to be working for me.
Anyone out there got a handle on this? Please help. Thanks.
