Hi,

It definitely worth a try. I am currently working on a project, a floor plan
"player" which load the coordinates of each shape from a cad plan and traces
+ fill in about 1200 boxes + associate 1 dynamic textfield for each. It is
pretty clean, is lighter/faster than loading an Illustrator exported vector
plan, and gives at the end a very large plan which remains easy to drag/zoom
without hanging up.
If that can answer part of the question... ;-)
