Macromedia Premium Support?

Macromedia Premium Support?

Looking for opinions from RIA developers who have signed up for
Macromedia Premium Support.  I am having problems building an expanding
menu component using AS2/MX2004.  I have read through all the
examples/tutorials on the web site, but they are only 2 and they are
really basic.  Most of the components out there are Flash 6 based, so
the only examples seem to be the base components.  As a result, I am
considering paying for Silver support, but have never had very good luck
with paid support.  Does the Flash premium support including answering
difficult questions in building an RIA or components for an RIA?  Are
you happy with the support?  Do you get answers that let you move
forward?  Or just acknowledgments that there is a problem?  Do the
answers come quickly or does it take weeks to escalate?  Or on the
negative side (and typical for a lot company's support), do you get a
lot of time wasting questions and requests, a lack of understanding, and
frustration?  $1,200 is a lot of money out of my minuscule software
budget.  Thank you much.
