Flash detection and search engines 2004-03-15 - By Susan
Back Hi all! Does anyone know how the flash detectors work with search engines? Example...If I make an html and flash version of a site, and the very first page is flash detecting, which then leads to either the flash version, or the html version, will the search engines get past that page and scan the rest of the site? Any recommendations on better ways to do this other than having a splash page where you have to choose a version by clicking a button each time you visit? Thanks
