Thanks to all of you for your advice! I do need to upgrade my
system but I 'm going to wait until fall when I should be getting a
new computer. Right now I 'm on a G4 running both 10.1 and 9.2 Claudia
Most of the ones I 've seen are geared towards servers so have onboard
video. The Tyan Thunder and Tiger K8W and the MSI K8T Master 2 are the ones
I 've seen that have an AGP or AGP ProCocktail is another useful tool for doing this.

YouAntoine I agree 100% with Naomi. 3dXtract is a great magazine for
tutorials. Why I forgot to include it in my previous post is beyond
me [ oops...uh sorry Carl ) ]. And of course free is gooI think I read either a post or a website that mentioned Carrara
Basics and alpha channels. If I remember correctly Basics has only
one format that it can render and include an alpha channel witI meant Alan Lorence!
It was one of those days when everything went backwards from the get
go...
