I use a wacom graphire 6x8 with C5 and there are definitely pros and
cons. I will generally switch to the mouse when I 'm doing ultra-fine-
tuning because the pen (well OK my dumb handWelcome back to the group Dave.

Raydream emailing list moved oveI don 't use a tablet but I advise tablet users to set the "Graphic
Tablets Compatibility Mode " Setting in the Preferences. This improves

Here 's a link to a free shader for trees in Carrara 5. It 's procedural
and has bark and takes advantage of the translucency feature. All the
instructions and descriptions are there.

Many of us here have excellent ideas and suggestions for what we would
like to see in say Carrara 6.
There is a thread at the DAZ forums from the "new " users as to what
the wouWe will be closing down this thread.
It has aready been announce that DAZ is working on these issues.

I tried my hand at it sent 2 renders asking for comments. Got not even a
single word. Maybe C5P is not high level enough (read not expensive
enough)for those guys... I don 't think my pictures were Please excuse me if this is a double-post.
It 's funny you mention that... I also teach at the primary school level.
The other day the DAZ website was down for maintenance.
What greeted me was an It 's tough to say without looking at it what it could be if you post it I 'd
be happy to look or someone else too.
