My webhosting company 's data center is in south west Florida and
appears to be down because of hurricane Wilma. While it 's down if you
need anything from the DCG site (plug-in downloads tDon 't know if anyone has seen this link before but it truly shows a
lot of talent by the artist. Now if I could just model in
Hexagon/Carrara like this I 'd be set. ) [I especially like the 1.5
inchI agree with you 100% Tina. I think that it could definitely be used
to fit certain broadcast and production house needs. I have seen some
examples of Carrara being used in TV productions

From I haven 't used Carrara 4 Pro for a while but have a couple projects
that I 'd like to use it for. The models and textures will ultimately
need to be exported to DirectX9 format. Is anyone doing this Yes for the most part anyway.
You can export as an object and as Pascal said merge equal points and
normals and it should import ok. Then you can import it and ungroup it in
Carrara if need be.

If you have Shader Ops there is a tool Edit|Apply Shader to Selected
Items that will do just that. Select all you want objects and groups
click the menu item and then pick the master shader Can it be done? I want to select several objects and use the same shader on them without
using the eyedropper or dragging and dropping to each one. I dont have carrara 4 yet is it
capable of that?

Looks like they 've decided not to offer the free Gmax program.
Perhaps an opportunity for Carrara X or Hexagon to go after the gI didn 't realize how many plug-ins were at Mike 's site. It would be great
if there was a short description of each plug-in unless there is and I just
missed it.
