Simply I wI 'm attaching a movie clip from the library that has an AS2.0 class assigned
to it. Then I 'm loading an SWF inside of it (which happens to have a sub
movieclip using a class file as well - but I dCan anyone recommend any good tutorials that cover skinning components?

I 've had so many problems using multi-Frame movies for presenting
different Application States to my users (because of many irritating
aspects regarding Object destruction & script executCoders
I am having trouble with my NetStream object and hope that you can
help. Specifically the NetStream.Play.Stop event is not firing.
The NetStream object is made in the standard way (cI want to use this xml payload to dynamically build a combobox 's data...

I 'm mucking around with F7/AS2 and loading in jpgs from url into a text
field as per the samples in the Macromedia AS Manual. It works and I

Did you ever come to a conclusion on this? Were you able to dynamically
import an XML doc and then add a listener to the MIf you browse an XML file that does not have a "root " node with ay XML
editor or even IE you get an error stating that a valid XML file must have

I am trying to use it in a project and I have to say it is a bit

what are you using for loading the SWF 's? are you using any cutom loader
class....? may be that has some buggy setIntervals or enterFrame?
