I replicated this bug. Software or Eovia Software work but Open GL
does wacky stuff. The axis for the lathe doesn 't get drawn for

Are you creating your object to be lathed in an orthographic view. i.e. top
side or front. That way your object will be in one plane so it can be
lathed.
